Clement Kitetu is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (LSSYB). He holds a Master of Science in Information Technology Management and a Bachelor of Science in Computing Studies from the University of Sunderland. He also holds a Higher National Diploma awarded by the Institute for the Management of Information Systems (IMIS-UK). He is currently undertaking his PhD studies in Project Management.
Clement possesses wide-ranging hands-on experience in managing and directing technology and social projects both in public and private sector. His key motivation is on integration of efficiency, improvements to projects management discipline and standards, office workflows and processes.
He is currently working for World Vision International as a Global ICT Project Management Office (PMO) Specialist and Process Life Cycle Manager with a primary responsibility of ensuring successful delivery of global solutions to field offices. He is also an Adjunct Consultant with Strathmore University. His focus is identifying, defining and delivery of key topical areas in Project Management to partner organizations. He has also been involved in Project Management Professional training content development and delivery for various learning institutions.
In his Project Management Volunteer capacity, Clement played a vital role in the formation of the PMI Kenya Chapter in 2012 and is currently the elected PMI Kenya Chapter President since November 2014 for a period of 2 years. He has been selected by the Project Management Institute (PMI) to be part of the 2014-2015 Leadership Institute Master Class. He has also played the role of Global Liaison for the Project Management Institute Education Foundation (PMIEF) since 2012 and has extensively been involved in project management for No Profit establishments.
